HALKBANK AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Halkbank, which has overcome many difficulties in its 82-year history with its long-established corporate governance structure, has completed 2020 with the power of the pandemic affecting the whole world. It is subject to the provisions of corporate governance structure, process and principle determined by banking and capital market regulations and carries out activities in accordance with the principles in the Corporate Governance Communiqué that must be implemented. Members of the Board of Directors are individually elected by the shareholders for maximum 3 years at the General Assembly of the Bank. As of 2020, the Halkbank Board of Directors has a total of 9 members consisting of 3 independent, 8 male and 1 female members.
