Our Bahrain Branch has been operating in the Kingdom of Bahrain since April 1994 (formerly Pamukbank T.A.Ş., after November 2004 as a Halkbank Branch) and licensed as a Conventional Wholesale Bank (Branch) by the Central Bank of Bahrain as of 2006. 

All transactions of our Bahrain Branch are in complaince with the international regulations, Turkish and Bahraini legislations. 

Our Bahrain Branch is located at the 33rd floor of Almoayyed Tower in Seef Area of the capital city, Manama.

Our Bahrain Branch extends foreign currency cash loans as “working capital” or for “the payment of imports” and participates to “the syndications” with other financial institutions or “project financing” of our corporate customers.

Bahrain Branch accepts time deposits from individuals and corporates, who/which have residency outside of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the currencies of USD (USDollars), EUR (Euro), CHF (Swiss Franc), GBP (Sterlin), TL (Turkish Lira) in various maturities within the thresholds of;

• USD 500.000,- and above 
• EUR 500.000,- and above 
• CHF 500.000,- and above 
• GBP 400.000,- and above 
• TL 1.000.000,- and above

As mandated by Central Bank of Bahrain which will be effective on 31st March 2021, a purpose code must be provided in the SWIFT messages of all cross border incoming/outgoing payments related to customer transfers. 

Purpose code list is provided herein. 

If the related code is not provided in the SWIFT transfer message, the payment order may be rejected due to non-compliance or may be delayed in order to be corrected as per the respective regulation , which may cause additional charges and commissions to be applied on customer’s account.
